The Great Disappearo

A supporter gives once, runs once, or signs up once, and then vanishes. No second gift, no deeper relationship, just silence until the next appeal rolls round. Nearly half of supporters never engage again after their first donation (manifesto, Mind the Engagement Gap, 2025).

The frustrating part is that it's rarely because anyone's doing a bad job. Your fundraising team is excellent. Your comms team is excellent. So where's the problem happening?

Supporters disappear in the gap between them: the handoff, the messy middle, the email journey that nobody owns end to end.
